A September evening always starts with mild confusion on a bar porch. The jacket is already zipped up, but no one is heading home — the city is balancing between the echoes of summer patios and the dense sound from basements. We would choose not to resist this contrast. This weekend, the route is built on sharp drops in pressure and changing locations.
On one hand, we are drawn to massive open-air raves before the weather finally shuts that door. On the other, intimate venues have already fired up their gear for thoughtful, shoulder-to-shoulder dancing. (The dilemma is as old as time, but no less pleasant).
